Mark Welcomes Fairer Future

Mark today welcomed the launch of the Labour Party's 2010 manifesto, declaring it a 'path to a better, fairer future'.

Spending the day campaigning in Buckley, Treuddyn and Connah's Quay, Mark spoke to hundreds more voters following the launch of the manifesto.

He said: "The future course of the economy is top of the agenda on the doorstep.

"Tax Credits, Child Benefit, spending on health, education and pensioners. These are the issues people are concerned most about, not David Cameron's promise to give tax cuts to millionaires.

"People are coming to see through the shallowness of Cameron's Tories. This is a time for strength and depth. It's a time for Labour."
